We’ve made it to the final step of my 5-part decluttering series!
The decluttering and organizing process can be a little overwhelming, but I’ve found if you can apply a few tricks and get started, then the progress you see will provide motivation to get through the rest!
I’ve also learned the hard way that a maintenance schedule is the best way to prevent junk from piling up.
Developing habits of daily and weekly tasks that you can stick to, will ultimately help you have a home that is clutter-free, or at least much LESS cluttered!
As I’ve mentioned before, decluttering and organizing go hand and hand. And as I was creating this series, I felt it wouldn’t be complete without the third and final leg of the tripod: cleaning.
Whether you already run a tight ship or struggle a little in the housekeeping department, a basic cleaning schedule provides you with a road map to keeping a tidy home.
Daily tasks keeps your clutter at bay and basic weekly chores keep you from having to spend the entire day cleaning your house from top to bottom.
And both simply make you feel more caught up.
Let’s face it, who doesn’t love the feeling of knowing your house is always somewhat presentable?
It not only creates a home you can be proud of, but also a space you and your family can really enjoy (without the clutter in your way or lengthy cleaning list hanging over your head).
Round out your decluttering overhaul by using this simple weekly cleaning schedule!
